What is a Pumptrack?

A pump track is a roughly 1.25-meter-wide circuit for all kinds of wheeled sports, made up of rollers and banked turns. These rollers are used to generate speed through pumping movements instead of pedaling.

During construction, the building process was documented via webcam and compiled into a roughly two-minute video. The result also gives a great impression of what happens on a pump track in action.

​

This modern playground is an ideal addition to the existing outdoor park in Bellwald and is also illuminated for evening use.
