16. iXS DOWNHILL CUP
Friday, Oct. 4th. - Sunday, Oct 6th.
Every year on the first weekend of October, Bellwald fills up with over 370 racers and more than 2000 spectators for the annual Downhill Cup race.
​
The Bellwald Downhill Cup represents quality, good organization, and fun - even off the trails.
It's not without reason that it's also the most popular iXS Cup in the international field of participants!

Friday - 04. October
09:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Bib number distribution
10:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Course inspection on foot
12:00 AM – 6:00 PM: Official practice

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Mandatory practice for Open Classes
10:00 AM – 12:00 AM: Mandatory practice for Elite
12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Course closed
From 12:30 PM: Seeding Run (Qualifying)

8:00 AM – 09:30 AM: Official practice for Open Classes
09:30 AM – 11:00 PM: Official practice for Elite
11:00 PM – 11:30 PM: Course closed
From 11:30 PM: Race run
Approximately 30 minutes after the end of the race: Award ceremony

Pre-registration is possible until 01 October 2024 at the latest.
The registration fee is composed as follows: CHF 105.– entry fee / CHF 15.– contribution for race infrastructure.

Accommodation
Affordable accommodation options at the Wilera Holiday Camp:

This year we have something special for you: a shuttle bus to Fiesch for just CHF 5 per person! Departures are at 21:00, 23:00 and 03:00, perfectly coordinated with the connecting trains to Brig.
Tombola
The Downhill Cup can be supported with the help of a raffle ticket (online or on site). The main prize is an MTB Transition Patrol, worth CHF 4,499 and offered by Rodeo Bike Co. In addition to the main prize, there are many other great prizes to be won.
