17. iXS DOWNHILL CUP
Friday, Oct. 3th. - Sunday, Oct 5th.
Every year on the first weekend of October, Bellwald fills up with over 400 racers and more than 2000 spectators for the annual Downhill Cup race.
​
The Bellwald Downhill Cup represents quality, good organization, and fun - even off the trails. It's not without reason that it's also the most popular iXS Cup in the international field of participants!
The bike park is closed during the iXS Downhill Cup. Only race participants will be transported by bike onto the course and into the upper section. Both sections are open as usual for pedestrians and spectators. It is also possible to walk along the race course to the finish.

From 12:30 PM: Seeding Run (Qualifying)

8:00 AM – 09:30 AM: Official Training Open classes
09:30 AM – 11:00 AM: Official Training Elite/Pro classes
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Track closed
From 11:30 AM: Finals
About 30 minutes after the end of the race: Award ceremony

The registration fee is composed as follows: CHF 105.– entry fee / CHF 15.– contribution for race infrastructure.

Accommodation
Affordable accommodation options at the Wilera Holiday Camp:
Adults: CHF 30.- per night / Children: CHF 25.- per night.

A large rider campsite with electricity and toilets is available for free. No advance reservation is possible.
